Challenge 485S BARRIER COAT

Challenge 485S is a water-soluble barrier coat, formulated for use in Pressure Type Mask Washers. The removal of solvent-based paint is dependent on barrier concentration, heat, impingement and tooling condition.

 

The recommended use concentration is between 90 and 180g of Challenge 485S per litre of water and the temperature should be between 80ºC and 91ºC, depending on the type of paint being removed.

ADVANTAGES

·       Completely soluble and resoluble to minimise build-up of unwanted deposits on machinery and tooling.

·       Barrier coat can be removed completely with warm water to allow tool repair.

·       Completely bio-degradable.

Challenge 633S BARRIER COAT

Challenge 633S is a water-soluble barrier coat, formulated for use in Pressure Type Mask Washers. This product is specially formulated for use with water borne paints, but can also be used with most solvent-borne paints. The removal and filtration of paint is dependent on barrier concentration, heat, impingement and tooling condition.

 

The recommended use concentration is between 90 and 180g of Challenge 633S per litre of water and the temperature should be between 82ºC and 88ºC. We recommend the use of De-ionised water, but this product can be used with tap water.
